Ingredients:
2 cups granulated sugar
2/3 cup corn syrup
¾ cup water
¼ tsp LorAnn Gourmet Flavoring
4 drops food coloring
Powdered sugar (optional)
Directions:
Combine sugar, corn syrup, and water in 2-qt. saucepan
Stir over medium heat until sugar dissolves
Bring mixture to a boil without stirring
When syrup temperature reaches 260℉, add color and stir
Once mixture reaches 360℉, remove from heat and stir in flavoring- CAUTION – THERE WILL BE HOT SMOKE!
Pour mixture into candy molds or over greased surface
Wait 2 minutes for candy to fully harden, then enjoy
