Candy Bites

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 2/3 cup corn syrup
  • ¾ cup water
  • ¼ tsp LorAnn Gourmet Flavoring
  • 4 drops food coloring
  • Powdered sugar (optional)

Directions:

  1. Combine sugar, corn syrup, and water in 2-qt. saucepan
  2. Stir over medium heat until sugar dissolves
  3. Bring mixture to a boil without stirring
  4. When syrup temperature reaches 260℉, add color and stir
  5. Once mixture reaches 360℉, remove from heat and stir in flavoring- CAUTION – THERE WILL BE HOT SMOKE!
  6. Pour mixture into candy molds or over greased surface
  7. Wait 2 minutes for candy to fully harden, then enjoy
