T.V. Star Dies At 52

Beverly Hills, 90210- Luke Perry, teenage heartthrob on 90210 and world’s best father on Riverdale, passed away after a suffering massive stroke on March 4th, 2019.

Luke Perry first captured hearts when he played the teenage bad boy, Dylan,  on hit T.V. series ‘Beverly Hills, 90210’ (1990-2000). He played Pike in the ‘Buffy The Vampire Slayer’ movie (1992). Perry went on to become a father of two before returning to the screen on the CWs hit T.V. series ‘Riverdale’(2017- Present).

Perry passed surrounded by his family. His publicist, Arnold Robinson, said, “He was surrounded by his children Jack and Sophie, fiancé Wendy Madison Bauer, ex-wife Minnie Sharp, mother Ann Bennett, step-father Steve Bennett, brother Tom Perry, sister Amy Coder, and other close family and friends. The family appreciates the outpouring of support and prayers that have been extended to Luke from around the world, and respectfully request privacy in this time of great mourning. No further details will be released at this time.”

Luke Perry’s daughter, Sophie Perry, 18, on top of the sudden death of her father, has received a hemping amount of criticism for her grieving process on Instagram.

“Those of you shaming me for my language and my wardrobe and most disgustingly, my grieving process, do us both the favor and just unfollow,” Sophie wrote on Instagram Monday. “It’s a waste of both of your time.”

Many of Perry’s castmates, former and current, posted tributes to him in the days following his death. Riverdale producers say that the remaining episodes of season 3 will be dedicated to Perry.

Perry was buried in Tennessee, according to his death certificate, but he will forever be remembered, as his life and memory are preserved on the screen.
