INGREDIENTS:

  • Three fourths cup white sugar
  • One fourth cup vegetable oil
  • Two eggs
  • Three fourths cup canned pumpkin
  • One fourth cup water
  • One and a half cups all- purpose flour
  • Three fourths teaspoon baking powder
  • Half teaspoon baking soda
  • One fourth teaspoon ground cloves
  • Half teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • One fourth teaspoon salt
  • One fourth teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • Cup of semisweet chocolate chips

DIRECTIONS:

STEP 1: Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F and grease and flour muffin pan or use paper liners

STEP 2: Mix sugar, oil, and eggs and add pumpkin and water.  In separate bowl mix together the baking flour, baking soda, baking powder, spices, and salt.  Add wet mixture and stir in chocolate chips.

STEP 3: Fill muffin cups two thirds full with batter.  Bake in preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes.
