Blood tomato jello-optional:
- 200 milliliters tomato juice
- 5 grams gelatin (sprinkle over 50 milliliters water and let it sit)
- 40 milliliters sugar
DIRECTIONS
- Microwave yogurt drink for 1 minute at 600 watts. Microwave strawberry, melon, blue hawaii syrups and grape juice for 30 seconds each at 600 watts.
- In a saucepan, combine 130 milliliters water with 2 grams powdered agar and bring to a boil. Turn heat down and cook on medium low heat for 1 minute.
- Add 2 tablespoons of agar mixture into each syrup and juice in separate bowls and mix well. Pour each mixture into flat trays and chill until firm.
- Using a straw or something similar, cut out small circles out of the jello. Grape juice jello should be 5mm in diameter. The others should be cut out to 1.5mm in diameter.
- Place grape jello circles into the bottom of a spherical mold.
- To make the white jello, combine 120 milliliters water and 2 grams powdered agar in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Turn heat down and cook on medium low heat for 1 minute.
- Reserve 20 milliliters of this clear agar mixture and put into a syringe or dropper.
- Add sugar and yogurt drink into the remaining agar mixture and stir well.
- Drop a very small amount of the clear agar mixture into each round mold.
- Immediately place colorful jello on top of the clear liquid.
- Pour yogurt jello into the molds and cover. Refrigerate for 1-2 hours until firm.
- Enjoy as is or serve in a glass on top of blood tomato jello.
- To make the tomato jello, combine tomato juice and sugar in a saucepan and heat until boiling. Once sugar has dissolved, add in the gelatin and stir until gelatin has dissolved.
- Pour into a flat tray. Once it has cooled, chill in the refrigerator until firm.
- Once the gelatin is firm, scrape off with a spoon.
