LAKE MICHIGAN CATHOLIC HIGH SCHOOL – Their sixth man, Michael Grade, number 20, was extremely excited about coming off the bench against rival team Michigan Lutheran.

The rest of the team, including the starting five, were nervous because this was their first time starting in a Winterfest game.

In the afternoon of Friday, January 20, 2017,Michigan Lutheran made a surprise visit to play Lake Michigan Catholic. The game was awesome, with Michigan Lutheran losing by almost 40 points, something that was almost too  shocking to watch for their fans and the players.

The Lakers are able to choose who they want to play during the winter fest and ont of the teams were Michigan Lutheran which is lmc rivals. Since the JV team played first they had to set an example of a true meaning winterfest win.

The main sixth man was sophomore Michael Markoch who came off the bench with eleven points and three assists. Michigan lutheran really brought a show when they arrived at the LMCHS gym.

Michigan Lutheran had a defensive game winning team but their luck ran out the other night.
