Key Club Hosts Toy Drive for Parish Families!

LAKE MICHIGAN CATHOLIC – To start the Christmas season, Key Club is hosting a Toy Drive for all of the parish families in need.

Every year Key Club hosts a specific toy drive, however, this year the club wanted to give back to the parish families. The Middle School will also be partnering with Key Club to help make this Toy Drive successful.

During a meeting, Father Tom McNally had spoken to the club members on how much families appreciated the toys the club had donated. Father Tom had mentioned that helping out one another includes thinking about the extended family in the parish.

This certain families in need are the people who donate money to LMC through the St. Joseph Parish.

Andrew Armstrong, senior and the high school Key Club’s treasurer, loves the drive and feels that it is a great way to give back to our parish families. “The toy drive is a great way to give back to the children, in our parish, in need”.

The cost of the toys are $10 minimum between the ages of 1-18. The deadline will be December 20th and the drop off will be in the Elementary, Mrs. Schems room, and Mrs. Koch’s room. It will be also appreciated for the toys not to be wrapped.

If there any questions, please contact any of the Key Club council members. Please help parish families in making this Christmas the best!
